06.08.09 - Memorial Day Show - Mt. Victory OH
Check out the album in the photo gallery.
Mount Victory Ohio sponsored a Memorial Day event in their Village Park that was nothing short of terrific. My estimation was 300+ cars. The variety of makes and models was a real treat. Although most of the pictures are Plymouths, I threw in a few Hudson and Packards because they are not normally seen at open shows such as this. It was a good day.

Back in the day, Chrysler/Plymouth mechanics attended training sessions in order to be certified as Master Technicians. As I have mentioned in these pages, my Dad was a Chrysler/Plymouth mechanic for some 30 years. During the '60's, he attended many of these sessions and earned several Mater Technician awards. The newest link on the left column will take you to a few photos of these awards.

The newest upload is my attempt at headlight restoration. I'm sure there are other methods, but this one works for me. I have applied this technique on 2 old bullseye headlights and I am very happy with the results.
For those of you who have made the switch to a 12v alternator system, a halogen bulb can be used. The bulb base is the same diameter.
